After a review of admissions requirements of all ALA Accredited LIS master's programs in the U.S., OU SLIS has revised our requirements. Please visit our Admissions page for more information and to apply!     

Now Easier to Schedule Online Program!
In response to student needs for a more accessible online program, the OU SLIS master's core courses will now all be available online each fall and spring term. Elective courses will continue to be offered in a mixture of online, on-campus, and hybrid formats.

Dr. Kelvin White and Partners Receive Grant (Sept. 2016)

“Archival Education and Research Initiative” funded by IMLS Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian program for $163,050. "The archival field, including educators, fails to reflect the changing demographic composition of the nation. More diversity of faculty would encourage recruitment of diverse students into professional education and nurture relevant training, pedagogy and applied research."   

Dr. Kun Lu and Partners Receive Grant (Sept. 2016)

“Research on Intelligence Consulting Services based on the Semantic Analysis of Text and Web”; $606,000 in Chinese Currency. Grant runs from 1/2017 to 12/2020. Awarded by: National Natural Science Foundation of China
