Ms. Jenifer Fryar Retires 
 

 
Ms. Jenifer Fryar retired in July 2017 after expertly managing the OU SLIS budgets, travel, and course schedules for 10 years. Congratulations on your retirement, Jenifer! We don't know what we'll do without you!  


New Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities! 

In June 2017 we received approval to offer a Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities beginning Fall 2017. This is a 12 credit hour (4 course) interdisciplinary graduate certificate which should be useful for people wanting to work in the Digital Humanities field.

New Ph.D. Program!

Dear Friends,SLIS is very excited to announce that the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education have approved our proposal to start a Ph.D. program. Our inaugural class will start in Fall 2018. More information available here .   



New Graduate Certificate in Archival Studies! 

ALSO - we have been approved to offer a Graduate Certificate in Archival Studies beginning Fall 2017. This is a 12 credit hour (4 course) graduate certificate which should be useful for people wanting to go into the Archival field.
