New Revised Admissions Requirements!
After a review of admissions requirements of all ALA Accredited LIS master's programs in the U.S., OU SLIS has revised our requirements to no longer require the G.R.E. Please visit our Admissions page for more information and to apply!
Now Easier to Schedule Online Program!
In response to student needs for a more accessible online program, the OU SLIS master's core courses will now all be available online each fall and spring term. Elective courses will continue to be offered in a mixture of online, on-campus, and hybrid formats.

OU SLIS in the Process of Identifying Strategic Directions
We are going through a strategic planning process to identify the strategic direction of the School for the coming decade. Understanding the needs of the communities we serve is an important part of our planning. We welcome your input and will be having an open Town Hall Meeting at the Oklahoma Library Association conference to be held in Norman, OK on April 25.
